Gun and gear reviews 7.62x25 Norinco

Is there anything that fires 7.62x25 in Canada or is it just cheap old stock from years ago

Only thing I could think is a Tokarev if one got one before the freeze. I always wished we had some sort of PCC though chambered in Tok

I bet we could convince our Turkish friends who just put a 9mm pump action on the market to chamber one in 7.62x25
Those bottle necked bullets are spicy, endlessly grateful I was able to pick up a Tokarev before the ban

There was at least one guy out there building a custom 7.62x25 SKS.

You know, I asked LHT about this. I thought a Raven would be cool in ToK. Said I’d be a little cheaper than 9mm and there’s plenty available in Canada for some reason.

Their response was basically “if someone is concerned about saving a couple of cents, they aren’t shooting our rifles.”

Tokarev handguns (Chinese, Soviet, and Yugo) were very popular/cheap to buy, and are still very popular to own/shoot, for those who have them. Solid guns and cheap ammo.

There “might” be a few options out there.

There are a few Lee enfields in 7.62x25 I’ve seen with my own eyes with homebrew kits that take tokarev mags akin to the Rhineland arms 45 conversions. But very few and far between.

I’ve also heard at least one semi auto sten back in the day that was Restricted and fed from pps43 mags. But that’s just hearing from a friend of a friend. I think the sten is now banned by name in the OiCs of the past 6 years tho.

I came across one of those Enfields. It was a professionally done Des Lisle clone and the price was right too ... I wish I bought it at the time

That one I have seen too, but a couple other ones that I have seen are custom in the white barrels and cut up actual magazines for the Magwell as well, so they can arrange from very well done to homebrew rat trash

Norinco made a Glock clone in x25 for a bit. Any of those end up up there?

I'm only aware of handguns in Canada that will fire it. There were of course some sub guns and other types of firearms internationally that would shoot it but they are of course long out of production.

Well ... There was a lad who built a De Lisle clone in 7.62x25, so there is that.

I went back to the ad to buy it but it was gone :(
