Misc Moving with restricted/prohib

Hey all,

Im military and am moving a couple hours away due to a posting from one base to another (same province). I have restricted and prohibited firearms. The issue is that my closing date for my current house is a few days before my possession date of my new house. I have to stay in a hotel for the 3 days in-between. Has anyone ever experienced this? I cant be the first... Do I get an ATT to my hotel one day and an ATT to my new residence once I have possession?

Thank you

Call your CFO. They'll provide guidance. Most are good to deal with. Except that one time that I called from a VOIP office phone in Alberta and got routed to Quebec who proceeded to give me shit for having unregistered non-restricteds. Downright rude and condescending tone. So I matched energy and asked them what the rules were in a non-retarded market and they transferred me to the AB CFO who answered my questions in record time. That was a fun day.

As a Québecois and firearm enthusiast myself,I am so sorry you talked to that ignorant and rude asshole. This guy is an exeption (and unfortunately in a position of power too...).Screw that guy, there are many great people all over our gun ranges here in Québec!

To clarify my position, I have zero issues with firearm owners in your province, just the asshats who hold sway over you. I wish nothing but good things for ALL law abiding firearm enthusiasts in this country, regardless of whether our province, your province, or neither separate haha
