Misc Hoping someone can help me out with my BOG deathgrip tripod.
One of the screws that attach a leg to the main body is broken. BOG will not send parts and pretty much stated that there is no warranty in Canada.
Hoping someone has a broken on i could scavenge a part from.
I have already gone to Home Depot and OFS without luck in finding a suitable replacement.
Thank you.

I had the exact same model. The screw that tightens the ball stripped and they weren't willing to warranty the product. Never buying anything from BOG again.

This will be my last as well.
Yoy don't happen to still have yours, or did you toss it?

Maybe you can take the screw and see if Fastenal or similar stores has a replacement? If all else fails you might be able to drill all the way through and use a nut and bolt.

BOG = Big Overhyped Garbage. That really sucks dude, but BOG is kinda crap. I would suggest getting a new tripod entirely. Have a look at Innorel on Amazon, they're crazy good and pretty cheap.

Maybe look for a machine shop in your area.
