Fix my gun SKS scraping brass off casing during chambering. Need help!

Just got this SKS. When chambering a brass round, it scrapes a big chunk of brass off the casing.
It happens right at the bottom edge of the chamber (circled in blue).
Is this normal? If not, how do I fix it? Thanks!

the rifle is designed for steel cased ammo

Does it scrapes the same on steel cased?

I’ll try steel case next time when I go to the range
