Buy recommendations Look for Guidance on the MRA Renegade Mk II

I'm looking to get myself a life-long gun, and I'd like some feedback.

I'm look at getting a Renegade in 5.56 with the following mods:

Magpul M-Lok Bipod
Triggertech 2-stage 3.5lbs duty trigger
Sig Saur TANGO 1-8x FFP LPVO (maybe 1-6x and/or SFP)
MRA Solid-Rock muzzle
MRA Ambidextrous mag release
Hogue OverMolded Rubber Grip (maybe with beavertail)
Magpul ACS Stock

What do you guys think? Is there anything you recommend as alternatives or to stay away from?
I am relatively familiar with firearms, but I'm still new to building more complex set-ups.

When abouts did you place your order? I placed one on the 15th. Hoping it comes soon.

Victory Ridge Sports, about a week ago. Got to me yesterday. Last 19" left in Canada for months. No more 19" barrels for a couple of months says Maple Ridge Armory.

I ordered the 16". Told me 3 weeks for delivery, 3 weeks later I ordered it, and then I contacted them again and was told another 3 weeks. Extremely impatient here, im just so excited for it i cant contain myself lol.

16" are still out there. G4C, Tillsonburg. I was adamant about 19" and they were not going to be around for a while so I (of course) overpaid for the one 19"FDE Cerakote unit Victory was sitting on. And I (of course) swapped out some furniture for Magpul FDE. I was skeptical but damn, it's a work of art. They match the Cerakote to Magpul's FDE exactly. Off to the range the first day the weather isn't mung.

Seems like solid choices to me, I wish I got the 2 stage triggertech over the single. Single feels too foreign for me.

Single stage would be like a lighter version of the stock trigger I imagine?

The stock trigger was a pretty generic 7lb 2 stage AR trigger.

Felt pretty awkward using a crappy semi auto trigger on a manual gun, so I opted for what I thought would be a generic bolt action trigger. The single stage Triggertech really does have 0 take up so it feels more like a heavy hair trigger. Awkward on the opposite end of the spectrum.... so what I should've bought was the 2 stage.

I have the stock trigger in my renegade now and am looking to do a similar upgrade which is why I ask. I feel like there is no take up in the stock trigger.

I haven't had the privilege of getting to use many other kinds, and was leaning towards the single stage. I just don't see why I'd need any take up if I know it will go bang the second I touch the trigger. I'm assuming much of this is personal preference, but again - no experience.

It really is personal preference, and honestly me nitpicking by this point.

Well I appreciate your comments! I'm going to dig more into this to make sure I'm spending my money the right way thanks to you.

I really like my renegade. Depending on your barrel length you may want to look into alternate muzzle attachments.

What barrel length is most fun for range only ? ( 25 yards indoor and 75 yards outdoor max)

I held the renegade in store and I wasn’t a fan of the ergonomics. I think I’d like a traditional bolt action instead. Think I’m going to put a ruger American in an mdt field stock or something like that.

I have one in 16” barrel and I love it so far. Have a 1-8x lpvo which is enough for what I shoot. Also have a feyachi light on the barrel and a magpul vertical foregrip up front. Not sure if I would want to add anything else as it is heavy enough already.

The stock works but is kinda wiggly since it is adjustable length.
