Feets / Collection / My build Year 1 since PAL

Post image

Year one with my exemption from being criminally charged for bear arms

Winchester SXP Trench 12g

57’ Tula SKS with BadAce Tac red dot mount and Holosun optic

Churchill 612 torso

Henry Golden Boy .22 MAG

Looking towards my next purchase, most likely a Derya TM22 but cant decide between 12” or full size. Or do I save my money and pre order a Makasi 🤔.

Was thinking the same, but i find after 2 mags thru the henry it jams consistently. The .22 mag rounds maybe just have so much powder it leaves tiny brass particles in the barrel and chamber causing it to fail ejection and its a pain to remove the shell with another round loading behind it. Maybe its the rounds im using. Either federal or cci max is what ive used

Sks needs more tape, and definitely get the makasi

Yup lol i rolled up a microfibre towel and put it behind the stock then taped tf out of it, to extend the pull and also as a recoil pad. I have lanky arms and i hate the size of the stock.

I've seen "Tikka toes" posted before, first time for stripper clip feet. Funny!

Nice collection. Maybe a bolt action next?

Tikka t3x is in my sights for a bolt action. For the price and praise ive heard, ill probably go for it. But i know it will be around forever so not in a rush to get my hands on one

You'll enjoy a Tikka.

I have a CTR in .308, one of my sons has a Lite in 30-06. We like them.

I also have a Sako S20 but haven't yet put a whole box of bullets thought it.

Its a cool idea but it doesnt seem to hold zero well. I bought the steel version in hopes it would. Have only had one range day with it and the first set of shots @25m was some of the best shooting i think ive done. But by the second strip, it was off by like 6-10” up and down. Might just need to be tightened more, however i did crank it down with locktite so 🤷‍♂️

Those shotguns need more range time

Winchester has had the most range time out of all of these, only fired about 10 rounds out of the churchill so far.

Mk15 is a better call

How do you like the Churchill? Been looking at buying one but not sure

Its pretty sweet just for the size and price. Bought it on a whim with some scrap metal money from work. Definitely putting the regular stock back on though it kicks too hard to use with a pistol grip and cant really aim it. Great truck gun

What shell holder did you get for your SXP wanting to get one.

Cant remember the brand but my LGS carries them. Just a velcro saddle with sticky velcro too. Holds really well and the material is very high quality, was around $25

I think its S&J hardware DSC detachable shell carrier strip. Highly recommend.
