I mean mine perfect now that I spent a thousand of dollars on parts lol. It was pretty good out of the box.
My one criticism is cosmetic. I hate the trigger gaurd. It has the same ugly shape the 870s have, i would much rather it have a mossberg style trigger guard.
I also prefer the tang safety if the mossberg but I get crossbolt is what people want and its more common. I pre-ordered the 990 aftershock and after months of delays in arriving I canceled it and got the 1301. I would like to get them side by side, with a m4 and a300.

I have a 1301 because I could afford it, but I wish it felt as nice as a the M4.

Really? I own a Benelli, but the 1301 is still quality. And far more balanced.

On a side note for a more budget friendly variant I would highly recommend the Canuck Operator. Smooth shooting clone for half the cost.

Fired a couple thousand without issue. M4 if I had the money. Superior firearm forsure but at a premium price.

Saying it's Turkish = bad is a bit missinformed, canik is Turkish for example. You wouldn't say American firearms are good, it really depends on the manufacturer. Most things imported by O'Dell Engineering are pretty solid.

Eh we've had both on the rack in the shop recently. Theres a noticable difference in action smoothness and speed between the two. That being said the canucks are a great option if budget is a constraint.

Travel to the rest of the world? Travel Canada? I went to Mexico in the winter and will be going to Eastern Europe this summer. The world is a lot bigger than the USA. Also my hate for the USA came from Donald Trump joking about invading my country, has nothing to do with the liberals

I know the gun is Turkish. Canuck Operator is literally the name of the M4 clone. My comment was M4 is a great piece of gear. Canuck Operator is a nice option for those on a budget. IMO.
I have nothing against most Americans but I draw the line at Canadians rocking the stars and stripes when the US started a trade war that is hurting our economy, actively involved in pushing Alberta to separate, started a war with Iran to distract from the Epstein files and reversing progress on equal rights or even basic human rights.
I went to war supporting the yanks and the current administration is fine saying that we were in the rear with the gear. That's a disgrace to the 158 Canadians who died over there.
Everyone has the right to support whatever they want but they better be ready for some feedback. If you're ok with what the US represents now a days that's fine. You do you.

M4 is the undisputed king of battle shotguns. There is no other that has been specifically purpose built to USMC requests.

As good as they are, if there's one thing I've heard owners of them say the most it's that they wish they got a benelli m4. On the contrary never heard a benelli m4 owner say they wish they got the 1301

Well I'll break that cycle for you, i have both and ive ended up purchasing a second 1301 (mod2) once it was released. I would sell the m4 but im a only buy never sell type of guy, i might gift it to my little brother once he gets his gun license tho.

Yeah by a long shot. People just buy these now becuse of their old reputations and their desire to own a "tactical" looking gun. Pistol grips on shotguns are for people that rarley shoot them, not to mention the 1301 is superior to these things in ever single way.

I'd say pistol grips have their place on detachable box magazine fed shotguns, but absolutely they make no sense on a tube fed gun, especially if you double/quad load.
