Shooting How often does this happen ?

Shot a few slugs today and a wad ended up lodging itself into the target. I hadn’t seen anything like it before so I was thought it was pretty cool haha. I was wondering if it’s a common occurrence at shorter ranges ?

I really wish fibre wad ammunition was the common choice. I hate that with every trigger pull we´re throwing a big chunk of plastic into the nature that we love

I've been waterfowling for years and myself as well as everyone I've hunted with has always done our best to pick them up after. We obviously don't get them all but we try our best.

I tried biodegradable shells and they suck unfortunately. Every shell was swelled up and the hulls would split

there´s a big difference between hulls and wads though. In Europe fibre wad is everywhere, you can´t compete in many competitions using plastic wad.
