Shooting How often does this happen ?

Shot a few slugs today and a wad ended up lodging itself into the target. I hadn’t seen anything like it before so I was thought it was pretty cool haha. I was wondering if it’s a common occurrence at shorter ranges ?

Fairly often in my experience, definitely tend to smack a target with a wad or two every time I take my shotguns out for some close range target shooting, you can really tell if you're shooting bird or buck shot!
