News / Politics / Activism Discussion: Canada’s handgun freeze policy and its impact on licensed owners

There’s been a lot of discussion lately around Canada’s handgun freeze and how it affects licensed owners.

I put together a short petition and info page asking for a formal review of the policy and its real-world impact, mainly focused on effectiveness and long-term outcomes.

It’s not meant as a political statement, more as a way to structure the discussion around whether the policy should be periodically reviewed.

👉 Petition (if anyone wants to take a look):
Lift the Handgun Freeze for Licensed Canadian Firearms Owners

your petition won't make an impact at all, your best bet is to use the official petitions plagorm that parliament follows

Those don't matter either. The government doesn't care.
