Gun and gear reviews High caliber services

Has anyone else had bad experiences with high caliber services based out of Mission, BC? I have now been strung along for 6 months on the purchase of a magazine adapter that I was told had a wait time of 4-6 weeks. After being told the product would be done and shipped by the end of the month on 3 separate occasions, they have now started ignoring emails. The product is now listed on their page as in stock and being shipped. I like to support local gun and parts manufacturers but this is absurd, I have not had customer support or an experience with a company as bad as this. They were always to quick to reply with the first few letting me know they were almost done, but after being patient and giving them ample time far beyond the estimates they had told me I have become very frustrated. How can you advertise a product and take money from people for said product and then not even have the intention of delivering it by the end of their own timeline.

Recently asked RDSC if they were doing a pre-order for the Makasi MK-15. They sent me a link requesting payment in full as the pre-order lol. Not a chance with their back order reputation.

They wont even refund you the amount if you dont get the gun, only will issue store credit. Customer service as abysmal with my last visit, ive also spent north of 10k there over the years but they are tarnishing their rep

I have the total opposite experience. Some of the best customer service out there. Lockhart is the one people should avoid like the plague

cant say ive had the same experience. was told 3-4 months to backorder a Maverick, wait time was 3 months on the dot. They replied to any question/email I sent within a day.

have also spent a fortune there

I've never ordered backorder stuff from RDSC, but the in stock stuff I've ordered has gone very smoothly.

Lockhart Tactical though is also a notorious dropshipper and doesn't often have the stock listed on their site as on hand.

Not a gun company per se, but On Duty Equipment does this as well. Ordered some Helikon-Tex mag/GP pouches. Said it had a lead time of about three weeks. Then the Canada Post strike happened, which wasn't their fault, but it still took two months after that for them to arrive - except they shorted me half the order. They said someone in their warehouse forgot to pack it. Then suddenly they had to order it again from Europe. Then they stopped replying.

Basically they either sold my $70 E&E pouch or someone in the warehouse had sticky fingers.

I ordered another from the UK from a different company (military1st) after the shorted order arrived and it got here in a week. Same price after duty.
