i wonder if we'll ever see a bespoke high capacity magazine type for manual actions in canada since basically all the high capacity mags are STANAG or otherwise meant for use with autoloaders

maybe they'll just have to skip straight to belt-feeding a lever gun

Check out black creek labs 20rd mag that used to be for their bison platform… unfortunately i think they went out of production

The reason you don't see American gun companies meeting the demand for that is simple: because "it's for a manual action rifle so it's fine" is not how any of the gun/magazine control laws work in that country.

Were that actually the case, you'd see an immediate effort put into making those magazines.
