Reading the "Request for an C-21 Exemption Letter, Handgun Transfer" request form from BCTSA, it asks for 5 requirements.
Is a member in good standing of BC Target Sports Association
The Specific Discipline is: 25m Pistol
Is training for Handgun shooting in a discipline that is on the programme of the International Olympic Committee or the International Paralympic Committee (as above),
Is Coached by a NCCP Certified Pistol Coach, (with you needing to provide a name of a coach)
Will compete in our upcoming competitions
Requirements 1, 2, and 5 are self explanatory.
Requirements 3, and 4 are the ones I have questions about.
How do I prove I am training and training under a coach?
How am I to go about getting a coach? Is that supposed to be arranged after? Because you said that you have not shot a firearm before, so it's not clicking for me.
