News / Politics / Activism New Shooting Range in Mississauga

Post image

Pleasantly shocked by this but very happy as a Mississauga resident. Anyone been here yet? My buddy went and had a great time but wanted to see if anyone else has any thoughts

Its about $70 per month or $700 per year plus a $125 initiation fee. Its not a huge space but acceptable for something close by.

Yeah. Its not a bad price. How is the air quality?

I think i have to call to see what the safety course entails (i have both licenses but no restricted guns).

Ive been to visit once and its not a huge place. The air exchange equipment is pretty new and works. They have handgun rentals available for $20 I believe.

My only issue is the size, its quite small like 13 yards and theyre opening up the 17 yard lanes at some point.

I'm currently a member at this range. They're working on the new 8 lane, 17 yard section & iirc it should be open by June/July.

What kind of caliber restrictions are there? And can I bring my own handloads.

Shotguns - Slug Only
Rifles - Up to 3600FPS, no steel core
Pistols - Up to .50 AE

If you rent their guns, need to use their ammo (price is pretty much what you'd pay in-store). I think you can use your handloads? Might want to reach out to them to confirm: [info@downrangesports.ca](mailto:info@downrangesports.ca)

Thanks, I think I will send them an email regarding handloads. I have a couple handguns I reload for and the loads are pretty hot.
