Buy recommendations SFP vs FFP for Hunting
Setting up a rifle specifically for hunting but all the scopes I have are first focal plane.
Aside from the reticle differences, does the adjustable parallax of the FFP scope drastically hinder the hunting experience, or is it becoming more common to use these?
I'm looking for a 3-15 option and there are more appealing scopes with FFP.

SFP scopes have adjustable parallax as well. That’s not really the difference between the two. The difference is basically that the elevation/windage marks on an SFP’s reticle are only accurate at the highest magnification, and the reticle stays the same size regardless of magnification, whereas an FFP’s reticle marks are accurate at any magnification, and the reticle grows and shrinks as you change magnification.
SFP is just fine for hunting.
