For me it's going to be plain old stock makasi, maybe an Lpvo from Athlon and a grip

Damn, looks a bit like a SCAR. With a different handguard, this would have premium battle rifle aesthetics.

I wish there’s a 308 variant of this. We really didn’t have a lot of modern 308 semis options since 2020 OIC.

There is the BAR, the AD500 and I believe the Benelli R1 comes in 308 as well. Just figured I'd mention them in case you didn't know about all 3.
There's also the older Winchester mod. 100, I believe the Remington 742? And then also a nice looking H&K that I've seen pop up a couple times for sale used, but prices are quite high on those, few thousand or more and don't come up often.
We do deserve more, but just thought I'd throw those out there as those are all the 308 semi models I know of incase you didn't know about them all. I assume there's a couple other obscure/rare models too I'm missing.

What are some other 1913 stock options?

u/JaxIsLoud May 13 '26
SBI has a buffer tube adapter. That's what I'm doing.

Do you know if I could put the MBT stock from my B&T APC223 on it?

u/JaxIsLoud May 13 '26
Off looking at two pictures, no I don't think so. The picatinny on the makasi is part of the receiver so you have to adapt from 1913 rail to whatever you want. Gsg folder is similar but is picatinny as far as I understand stand.

I wish on the Makasi the hand grip area around to the 1913 rear rail didn't look like the wk180. 🤮

u/thatregal May 12 '26
Agreed, first thing I thought when I saw it was wk180 gen 1… it’s still going to be a gem in our current market tho

I "already got mine" and sadly it is a shitrod180 but I may also grab one of these if they are plenty available for non scalper pricing.
Just the CEO and staff in some of the YouTube videos is cringy.

Which stock is that? The original F5 stock and B&T kept the riser next to the receiver, and were known to be overly flexible, but this one has the riser stay with the part that stays next to the shoulder, and is that a metal rail? Is this the newer, supposedly more sturdy one from PSA, or a different one? Thanks!

f5 gen 3

Thanks! Hopefully it is stiffer their original version, which was known to flex too much on the Jakl.
Edit: positive review here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobinsonXCR/comments/1rwkbgn/f5acr_gen_3_stock_initial_thoughts/
Are you getting it from Canada, or direct from the manufacturer?

u/AprendiendoMuchisimo May 12 '26
That was my plan as well... Do you know where a guy can get an acr style stock?
2
u/rastamasta45 May 12 '26
I’m planning to put a master key on mine, cannot wait
1
u/Due-Candidate4384 May 12 '26
Oh shit where do you plan on getting the master key? Who even makes them anymore? Presumably would have to import that through IRG right?

u/rastamasta45 May 12 '26
Akdas UBL at Tenda, Turkish but who cares I want one

Where are you seeing this? I can't find it

Not really fan of the acr stock but really considering it. since it might not look great with regular 1913 buffer and magpul ctr. Hopefully we get more options for handguards down the line.

I got a picatinny to buffer tube, Magpul stock. Short vert grip. A k grip. A bunch of cross mags. And I'll be doing a viper 1-6 lpvo I think.
