Howdy Folks

The Texan is back with yet another Gun Appreciation Post, this time with a Prohibited Item now, was once popular in the Canadian gun market funny enough.

The one and only!

Robinson Armament XCR.

It’s a cool rifle for what it is, and honestly it should have been adopted in my opinion because it was made from the ground up, and is a reliable weapon platform.

No, it really wasn't.

The XCR is literally just a (somewhat-modernized) Stoner 63 in rifle configuration, except with an AK bolt, and made of aluminum instead of stamped steel.

Kind of obvious when you consider what Robinson Armament's previous products were (semi-auto Stoner 63 clones and imported AKs), but Guntube is a little too simple to realize that so they keep claiming it's some weird AK/AR-15 mashup instead. (Not that that isn't partially true of the 63 itself.)
