Buy recommendations 22lr scope recommendations

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to mount a scope on my Savage B22G bolt-action .22 LR. It’ll be a dual-purpose rifle for plinking and small game hunting (grouse and rabbits). I’d prefer a scope with a 50-yard parallax or an adjustable parallax.

I’ve looked at the Athlon Neos scopes, but they seem a bit heavy. The Leupold VX-Freedom 2–7x33 is a little on the expensive side for me. I might consider a Vortex Crossfire HD as well.

I’m open to suggestions!

Crossfire HD 2-7x23 Rimfire is an easy pickup here imo.

Yeah I haven’t been able to get my hands on one locally to check them out. I do think it would be a good fit. I have a Vortex Viper HD 3-15x44 on my 308 that I really like. Thanks for the input!

I have, they are really impressive for what they are. I'm planning on getting 2 (one rimfire model, and one regular with illumination for one of my rifle-barreled shotguns. For the pricepoint and use/purpose i don't thin you can go wrong.

I also have a Viper HD 3-15x44 on my 6.5cm. That particular line has become my new standard for any of my main use hunting rigs.
