Fix my gun Is this a normal sound only rattles with action closed single shot 12 gauge from CD

Rattling is normal on those single shots, it's the extractor under the front hand guard, when the gun is closed, there is no tension on the extractor bar

Do yourself a favor with this thing and get a slip on butt pad, it makes it a little less tooth rattling when you shoot it lol

I just checked mine, same gun, and it rattles as well. Never caused an issue and I didn't even notice until you posted so it should be fine!

Yea one other guy on here said it is the extractor and I agree seems like it has a bit of tension when open and none when closed hence the rattle seems fine tho

My Stevens 320 doesn't make any noises when shook with the action closed. Could it be the mag cap? Mine does make noise since the strap connection point is on that and can jiggle around a bit.

My little Scorpio’s firing pin failed after about 400 shells not too bad just been looking for parts

I would contact the company that deals with there warranties at that point man should last longer than that

Mine does the same thing also only shoots good with 3 inch shells I noticed it doesn’t even say 2 3/4 inch shell so I would recommend only putting 3 inch through it

I’m pretty sure it’s just rated up to 3inch I was running 23/4 buck yesterday no issues

Cheap guns with loose tolerances 🤷🏻♂️
Should be totally fine to use, just check your shells after you fire a couple to see if anything is too out of wack
