Misc Selling Mags on Gunpost

Just wondering, anyone with experience selling mags on Gunpost ?

Just curious what the requirements are. Is it the following?

  1. Verify license online through RCMP portal

  2. Does shipping address need to match gun license address to mail them legally?

  3. Does shipping need to require a signature for magazines ?

Any other things maybe I am not thinking of ? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

All you have to get is proof of a valid PAL and that's it. IRL sale just make sure the guy buying your mags brings his PAL and you can just verify the PAL right there. If it's an online sale just ask him to send proof of his PAL via a photo/PDF and make sure the name on the address matches the name on the PAL. Make sure the PAL is valid and not expired.

Basically.....treat it like buying or selling ammo. No need to verify a PAL through the system or any signatures for shipping also.

To my knowledge it doesn’t have to be the same address but it’s best practice, and does not require a signature but again is the best practice. I could be wrong seems like stuffs always changing

Verify Pal and that's it. To my knowledge, the ship address matching we're seeing lately popping up on retailer websites is more to do with fraud prevention from CC companies than anything else.

I do all my gunpost sales (buying or selling) with signature required just for verification that it got to where it was supposed to.

Ah okay that makes sense. I did notice that as well on retailer sites when I tried buying mags. Good to know its not required. I appreciate the reply

I get everything sent to a PO box. Why would you give yiur address out to random on the internet. There is no regulation that non restricted guns, barrels, ammunition, magazines have to go to the address on file with the RCMP.

They cant disclose a person's address due to privacy concerns.

Its a moot point

same as selling guns. List it up, ask for pal, make the sale once it’s verified.
