Honest question: have you ever had to fend off an aggressive bear in Canada? (hunting or otherwise) What happened,​ and what worked for your response? ​​

Whoops missed the aggressive part in the body text, but had a big bruiser of a boar pass about 2' from the doors of the hall last night during my kids archery program. He lives around the shooting range and is completely unbothered by gunshots/explosions, it took a bear banger going off about 3' from him to get him to leave the rifle range the other day. He's also the reason we can't leave our 3D targets outside, as he's attacked more than a few in the past
