Honest question: have you ever had to fend off an aggressive bear in Canada? (hunting or otherwise) What happened,​ and what worked for your response? ​​

Before firearms come into equation..

Pertaining to bears.

If it's brown lay down > If it's black fight back > if it's white say goodnight

To identify whether it's a black bear or a grizzly bear simply climb the nearest tree. If the bear climbs up the tree and eats you it's a black bear. If it pulls down the tree and eats you it's a grizzly bear.
