Have you ever had a bear incident?

Honest question: have you ever had to fend off an aggressive bear in Canada? (hunting or otherwise) What happened,​ and what worked for your response? ​​

Yup. I was living beside the rockies backpacking all the time. Had to tell people to stop, look, take a pic, then move on. They wanted to stand there forever and agitate the bear by following it.
