Shooting Have you ever had a bear incident?
Honest question: have you ever had to fend off an aggressive bear in Canada? (hunting or otherwise) What happened, and what worked for your response?

Personally, we did shoot a bear once when I worked in Parks. The bear was a big nuisance, scaring it off didn’t work and we had trouble catching it. Eventually, we got ordered to shoot it, which was honestly pretty controversial in the office. The shotgun we got was a pretty sick 870 Marine Magnum which was cool at least.
