Honest question: have you ever had to fend off an aggressive bear in Canada? (hunting or otherwise) What happened,​ and what worked for your response? ​​

Encountered lots of bears, wolves, and a cougar. All of them buggered right off as soon as they saw me. The only ones I'm all that worries about are the cougars - if they want you for lunch, you'll never see them coming until they're on you.
