Have you ever had a bear incident?

Honest question: have you ever had to fend off an aggressive bear in Canada? (hunting or otherwise) What happened,​ and what worked for your response? ​​

I’ve run into black and brown and a grizzly bear. Just gave my space made my presence known while backing away. I have bells when I’m in the bush and carry spray. Never had to use it but always good to be prepared.
