Shooting tm22 drum mag

so i have been on the fence on getting the drum mag adapter from tommy's but really want to see a video of it actually working. I have looked everywhere but nothing always see some comments saying that they got it to work and had no problems but wouldn't reply back with a video so was wondering if anyone has gotten it to work and can link a video of it working?

I bought a Tommy mag adapter. It sits in my bin of useless bits. I was never able to get it to work. I now use the drum I bought for it on my Ruger 10/22. Someone on Gunpost made a Remington 597 adapter that fits and actually works.

He has a video of it working. You can buy drum adapter and 597 adapter or just the drum adapter. I have two. I bought the whole kit and he sent me an extra drum adapter. I used the drum I bought for the Tommy kit for the second one. I have better feeds with the SBI metal adapter than I do with his 3d one. Most times I empty the drum with zero issues.

Shelpens Polymer Works adapter does actually work. It’s still fussy, but I was able to shoot 2 drums with minimal jams. It’s a bit expensive for a 3D-printed part.

Loading the drum is a bit of a pain, the design still feels a bit “beta” in regards to the dummy round/follower setup, but at least it functionally works.

No it is for a 10/22. There are no working TM22 drum adapters.
