Shooting Hot 22?

Was shooting my Marlin 795 when something sketchy happened my guess is a little to much powder in that one. Shooting Aguila have shot lots of them never had this happen.

Comment explains all, with the exception of the Remington Bucket O Jams I’ve never shot worse .22 ammo than Aguila

Sing it, but the fact is most people want a) the cheapest thing that b) runs their .22 reliably. Aguila fits that bill. Most don’t make the connection between residue and carbon and malfunctions for some reason.

Yeah, I'd bet that a REAL large chunk of 'FTF/FTE' complaints are from guys to whom 'cleaning' is a foreign concept.

Even shooting some of the most-maligned ammo out there - like the Winchester 555 or various bulk Remington ammos - I very rarely have issues. (555, actually, works really well in most of my guns)
