I shot the Chiappa LA322 deluxe takedown 22. 20 shots, failed to extract every second shot. Then the frame cracked. What a fucking scam.

This is why they warranty their work; bad component(s) must've slipped through QA. The real test of a company is how they handle issues with their products. If they refuse to do anything about it; then they're a joke.

chiappa unsurprisingly cheaps out on their warrenty centers for canada and keeps picking places that are terrible. first it was gretch and now it is SFRC.

both take months or years to fix your gun. have poor communication and when you do get to them get met with the "waiting on parts" excuse that other warrenty centers dont seem to have a problem with.

Idk about sfrc but latley I had to deal with Gretch for my henry and he is amazing. Both time he replied to my email within 30 minutes. The first time he ordered the parts right away and I got them in about a month and a half, the second time i had the same issue and he called after the first email trying to figure out what's going on. He even called a few people he knows to see if they had seen the same issue then called henry themselves. I found him awesome to deal with.

Wow thats insane. I have a 45-70 chiappa with literally thousands of rounds down it with no such hiccup. This has to be a lemon. Id definitely reach out.

45-70 isn’t much more expensive than sp .308 if you know where to look. My LGS sells it for $52/20 and when you buy bulk you get a pretty decent discount.

Chiappa 22lr guns are made essentially from airsoft pot metal, their m1-22 were cracking like ghis as well

It’s worth noting that Chiappa .22s and Chiappa M1 carbines and other cheaper stuff they sell are made by Chiappa. The lever guns in bigger calibers are made by Armi Sport and sold under the Chiappa brand. I’ve had Chiappa lever guns that were higher quality than real Winchesters. Armi Sport is also one of the only companies that don’t put those disgusting lawyer safeties on their repro lever guns.

I've had good luck with over 10 levers throughout the years, only bad one was a scorpio.

I wouldnt buy any pot metal levers, that goes for henry rimfires too
