Milsurps / Prohib Response to that guy with. Retrograde
Here’s my family photo. You can see how my retrograde turned out! Very nice grain structure, believe it’s walnut.

From your personal experience, are those SKS magazines any good? Most people say they suck so I’m curious?

I have a collection of seven of the archangel magazines, and have never had an issue with fit or feed. They are great magazines that require no alteration to the rifle or the stock. I cannot speak to individual differences in different SKS manufacturers, but my rifle was manufactured by Izvhesk in 54 and like I said it takes these mags without issue. It’s the single most noticeable upgrade you can do to the SKS without alteration IMO and I wouldn’t go back to the fixed magazine(though I did keep it)

Personally, I really like the look of your retrograde with the bead. I dunno, looks even extra retro-ey to me, if I ever got one, that's the way I would go too. Love the smooth flat top look to it, nice collection too, very classic Canadian!

Lovely family photo! The Canuck bullpup oddly fits in due to the colour! If you added some brown leather wrap to a few spots, it would look even more rustic!
How do you like it anyways? I missed the bullpup train when I wanted to pick up a Keltec RDB, so the only bullpups now would be shotguns

It’s Turkish junk and now a paper weight due to OIC. If anything changes I will make some modifications to mitigate its stove piping issues, and modify my retaining pin configuration. Like I said previously on this thread, the retaining pins came without the proper bead and one flew right out while firing. Replaced it with a bolt and nut. The other retaining pin due to sub par machining barely fits in the hole and requires a punch to remove. If nothing changes it’s getting deactivated come October. Praying for something to happen and courses reverse though. It was an expensive chunk of plastic and metal 😩
