Would a glue gun count? I think it's still a gun...
Caulk gun and grease gun counts as a lever though instead of a trigger, so those shouldn't count.

That is a mass-murdering weapon for bugs
A weapon of war which was created to kill many bugs in the shortest time
A high-capacity weapon which can spray thousands of bullets in one trigger pull

I find myself doing this constantly ALL the time when I'm picking up my spray bottles at work too. And it's all subconscious too.
Back at one of my old jobs, I even got complimented for my "trigger discipline" while carrying one of these things as well by a co-worker who used to serve in the military.

I unconsciously practice trigger discipline with anything that is grabbed with one hand and can be pointed. It doesn't even need to have a trigger.
I remember a Tom Scott video where he handeled guns, I believe in Switzerland. He took the time to explain that he was aware of the need for trigger discipline, and that when he had his finger on the trigger it was ok because the gun wasn't loaded. sigh
