Application / Regulation advice Question about the henry supreme

Post image

I know ARs are usually easily convertible from 5.56 to .300blk but would this be. I will probably buy a 5.56 because of ammo prices but it would be nice to be able to hunt deer with it too. I see 450$ .300blk barrels that would be a nice combo gun. Can someone confirm or disprove my theory please?

Pretty sure it’s a bespoke barrel/extension, but it uses an AR bolt. So off the shelf swaps are probably out of the question unfortunately. Maybe you could order a barrel from Henry as a replacement though?

Also .223 is legal to hunt deer in some provinces, though I never have

.223 is not legal in quebec unfortunately. But I saw those barrels and was wondering it just cjanging the barrel everything would work. https://line49rifle.com/barrels/l49r-henry-supreme-barrels/line49-henry-supreme-conversion-barrel-13-7-300blk-mwmatch-mod2-cerakote-black.html

I’m 90% sure that won’t work sadly, I looked into it a while back but don’t remember
