Fix my gun Taipan X and the Tommy Enterprises Picatinny foregrip adapter

Post image

Hi,

UPDATE: I got an email reply from Tommy Enterprises in the next hour I emailed them.
They instructed me for a few steps and now the parts have mounted properly. I need to test it at the range tho.

The products are fine and it is just some tweaking to installing correctly.

Perhaps an installation video would be great πŸ‘

Thanks for all the comments!

Question:

I got the Taipan X and the Tommy Enterprises Picatinny foregrip adapter for mounting a foregrip.

I have issues to mount it on.

I m not sure why the rail adapter (lower in the photo) have no cutout notches to fit the pump rail.

There is a difference on the original one (top in the photo). Snug fit.

The existing bolt is not long enough either.

Anyone had the same experience of this and willing to shed some light?

Thanks in advance!

It’s not even that hard to add the tabs. I made a demo set to see if I liked the smaller profile handles but just cut down my original handles a bit for how I wanted.https://ibb.co/yFQNrDNH

You can even put a little tab in the middle that locks into the block there as well. He was a bit lazy there with the design.

I just cut the raised ridge off the receiver side of the handles. I can slide my hand off of them easier and let the spring send it back home when cycling the action instead of pumping both directions like a shotgun.https://ibb.co/6cSRR0NJ (My dumb wood buttstock there too)
