Gun and gear reviews Mag extension or couplers
Just messing around with some mag extensions to speed up reloads. The small mag extension is ok but still a bit annoying to reload quickly. The coupler works well but I'm not the biggest fan of the flip reload. I designed "big black" so I can get a good grip around the shaft for easier back and forth in the mag well. This is just an initial prototype for sizing and attaching to mag.

Big black needs to evolve into a trident/pitchfork so you can have 3 mags and shift the whole works sideways for reloads. 🤣

The two spare long boi mags would create a bipod for the rifle with the normal tripler

I've just started designing stuff. I'm nowhere near being able to distribute anything. It's just fun to make useful shit on the printer.

If the extended version was the same length as the grip i would be very interested

To get the gun to stand up properly? I'll make one tomorrow and see how it looks.

No, i was thinking justt give it enough real estate for a positive purchase but without going all crazy long

I've got a version that's about that length and an mp5 profile one. Dm me if interested in more details

So its like the same length as the one pictured but with a curve?

Yes the mp5 one is curved and about the same length. Then I have a second style that is closer to pistol grip length.

I like the trimags.
I think it's the fastest way to carry/swap 10 rd 10/22 mags in competition.

I'm literally 1 hour into a tri mag holder right now

An hour? You should be able to reload in about 1-2 seconds when you get the hang of it....

What if you could make a * and get a mag on each point ? I have a 3 sided one but five sided would be interesting

I love the long boi, where can I find one? But personally I’m a coupler kinda guy since I hate being capped at 10 with a 22, I also have a few mags with extensions and it does make reloads a lot easier, but still not as fast as a coupled mag. I am a huge fan of the tandemkross mags as well, they function even better than the OEM Ruger 10rd mags and look sweet with the clear plastic.

Personally the long version should be curved imo; Think more MP5, less UMP.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe not as bad as the tm22 but still a slight curve.

Honestly if you just traced the BX-15 and/or the BX-25 profile you'd be good to go.

Nice, just ran my double mag coupler for the first time today and loved it. Massively reduces the form factor of carrying mags for a plinking day. Gives it a really m1 carbine kind of look too
