News / Politics / Activism Panic?

Just curious how many of you have upped your reloading/ammo/firearm supplies in the past year or so because of the current government. Personally they have "made" me get more than ever. Thoughts of a ammo cap limit and more restrictions. Im not saying people should do this im just curious and this post in no way is suggesting anything. So no hate please 😌

Its done the opposite for me. Havent bought any ammo or gun related stuff since april '25. Without even an illusion of feeling like knowing where this all ends or at least returns to stability, and after losing cumulative 30K to every single wave of bans, Im putting the time and money into other things that make me happy. While I can. Not complying, window shopping, keeping my range membership and RPAL in good standing are about the extent I participate anymore. Hoping for the best for all of us in the end but Im also done gambling.

I haven't bought since 2021 for the same reason, and I was spending 2k a month on guns for 4 or 5 years

Aside from buying a few pistols when the freeze was announced, I'm in the same boat as you. Between guns, ammo, gear, training courses and travelling for competitions, etc. I was averaging close to $20K/yr. Over the last 5 years it's more like a few hundred dollars per year. The bans took something that brought me heaps of joy and sucked the fun completely out of it.

My only gun expense the last 3 years has been range renewals, and I haven't been there in 3. It's not fun anymore
