Misc It's a good Monday, because it's a new gun day.

Maple Ridge Armoury Maverick. 20 inch barrel.

A decent amount I assume looking at my local range. Seems a lot of people have accepted that their AR-15 and AR-18 variants are going to stay safe queens for a bit longer so might as well get some use out of all the add-ons they have for them.

Also unlike other Canadian built guns they actually have proper qc.

I like like there would be a place for them in the Canadian market even if we went back to pre 2020 gun laws. As in theory if these ever got priority magazines they could hold as many as they want.

enough that there arent any in stock anywhere and people have to wait 3-4 months for batches to ship out.

I think they moved onto the gen 2 model now as well. Which tells me they are pretty popular if that’s the case.

Did you swap the barrel? The 20in barrel inside 15in handguard gives me DMR Vibe

I definitely want to go with a dmr style. I haven't figured out what im doing with the barrel. I really like the factory barrel, but i want to cerakote it od green.

It's what all the new ones come with. No pmags either. They switched it up to proprietary stuff some point last year I think. Just got a 12.5 inch renegade in the mail a week ago. It seems fine. Same as the stock on the tm22 without the cheek riser.

I already have a 12.5 renegade. No other specific reason for the 20 inch
