The other one is a rossi R92. And despite being a JMB design (it's a clone of the winchester 1892), the 1873 is smoother and less picky about ammo. But the 1892 also has a shorter action, meaning a 4" shorter barrel results in a 6" shorter overall length. So they both have their pros and cons.
