Misc Factory Loaded Ammo Case Defects?
Is it common practice to inspect cases from the box to check for damage, inconsistencies, ensuring they are indeed the same cartridge (had bad experience of a random cartridge in a box of 308, maybe someone played with the box in the store).
I’m finding some brass with minor dings from factory. In my new box of 308 Nosler TG only three are without dings on the cartridge... See picture of dent on the neck. Am I just too anal and should I just send it? Appreciate the discussion as always!

They get tumbled through several dozen machines before being packaged, and brass is soft, theres bound to be a few dings and scratches on the cases. Sometimes more often depending on the brand and how much their quality control cares.
That little ding tho is a non issue, perfectly fine to fire
