Americans are laughing their ass off on this but dude, it’s probably the best bubba I’ve seen on this gun.
Great job

Did you get the full kit with the hunter handguard? I ordered the full wrap handguard a month ago and now they won't reply to my emails. I've been waiting forever for them to release that stock and trigger kit, but still nothing
2
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
Are you talking about Kodiak defense? They sold me the trigger in stock. I think it’s available already
Only thing waiting on is the aluminum handguard the full wrap that they’re gonna send out next month
3
u/IceWide6245 Apr 25 '26
I see they have a full rifle on their site with the hunter handguard but I don't wanna buy another Alcor, I just want the parts to put on mine
3
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
I had to call them and place the order over the phone. They don’t have it listed on their website. The stock in the trigger came within one day, the hand guard they’re still backorder and making them
1
u/IceWide6245 Apr 25 '26
Damn I'll have to give them a call monday then, I guess they don't check their email lol

How heavy is a build like this? Wondering if it's possible to do a build that's not crazy heavy
1
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
Highly possible buy the fox operator mods those are all polymer so not that heavy
1
u/shapoopshoot Apr 26 '26
Even with the fox operator buffer tube adapter+ Magwel adapter, still heavy. If the handguard is aluminum, it'll just be heavy overall at the front due to the gas system+spring in the handguard.

I have dreamed of this exact build for myself before. Looks great man. How much was it all in? That vortex UHG is my dream sight, how have you been enjoying it?
1
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
Man been living aight originally bought with my crypto so just slapped it on this build and man it’s does hit the empty spot in me after losing my crypto lol
2
u/BrotherLefthand Apr 25 '26
Pretty solid for a cope. But I have to know- how much do you have into it? 😳

u/ASpacebornVagabond Apr 25 '26
Hey man, I love mine. I got on for talking about my experience and daring to say I liked the gun for what it was. Nice build, I hope the TE stuff works better for you.
I had no idea anyone offered a trigger kit for it, I might have to snag one. How good has it been?
2
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
Man the trigger is an absolute game changer
1
u/ASpacebornVagabond Apr 25 '26
I think I read a comment you had to call them to order it? I have a makasi on preorder, but Id rather drag this thing through the woods coyote hunting than that so a decent trigger would still be nice.
1
u/ASpacebornVagabond Apr 25 '26
Also curious, is the stock adaptor that came with it aluminum or plastic?
2
u/Iokua_CDN Apr 25 '26
Love the new look with the Kodiak trigger pack! Moving the trigger up a bit really looks good. Best looking alcor mod yet
2
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
Appreciate it man yeah been loving that trigger as well big improvement

u/M4J0R3X Apr 25 '26
Is it possible to change the stock adapter to 1913 or crusader’s?
1
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
Yeah you can get fox operator stock to do that
1
u/M4J0R3X Apr 25 '26
While having the same trigger group with kodiak?
1
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
That I can’t confirm yet
2
u/M4J0R3X Apr 25 '26
So i would assume current configuration of the trigger group only works with buffer tube stocks for now, how much did you got it for?
1
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 25 '26
So the buffer tube attachment came with the trigger set from Kodiak 250 bucks
2
u/Agreeable_Aspect6946 May 01 '26
With the new trigger group can you reach the mag release with the trigger finger correctly without adjusting grip?
1
u/twistedhumoraffy May 01 '26
Yes I can reach it easily but I still ordered a magpul mag release button to make it even easier

Is that a custom barrel? Mine never came threaded. Would love to eventually throw a fake can on there.

Dare I say it actually looks sort of handsome in a rugged way? If the barrel was centered in the handguard it would look really good!

Reminds me of a fusion between a browning BAR body with the overall shape of a sig 550.
I think it looks great I want one now 🧐
2
u/RadiantCoast6147 Apr 27 '26
where’d you get the fake silencer
1
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 27 '26
Not a silencer it’s the warden blast defuser
2
u/Bull-RunTheJewels May 05 '26
What is the benefit of the diffuser? Does it actually work well?
1
u/twistedhumoraffy May 05 '26
Yeah works well for indoors ranges your not blasting the the people beside you with residue Plus looks cool lol
2
u/ooTurtle1999 Apr 29 '26
Am I able to put that hand guard on and keep the iron sights?
Also, what did you use to mount the foregrip and which one is that
2
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 29 '26
Youlll have to take off the iron sights and than u can put the front one back on but not the back one
Foregrip is the magpul MVG MOE Vertical Grip
2
u/ooTurtle1999 Apr 29 '26
What did you have to order to get the pistol grip on there? Was it hard to change out
1
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 30 '26
I ordered the Kodiak defence trigger set so once you install that you basically screw on any pistol grip you have laying around or you can just buy one literally takes 30 seconds
2
u/IamAidenCarter Apr 30 '26
Is the Alcor only rated for 223? I have so much 556 i can’t use it’s insane

This actually looks pretty cool, I'm just not a huge fan of the receiver look on the Alcor/Chimera/AD500, but I do think this looks pretty damn good. They look pretty goofy from the factory with the weird mag fed with a random mag tube seemingly attached.
How is the accuracy on yours? I've heard they're actually pretty decent.
I just pre ordered a MK15, but if it fails to make it into the country I may have to end up buying an Alcor at some point.
Akdas I believe also makes the Churchill line of shotguns, and my Churchill 612 has run flawlessly for about 1k rounds. Some Turkish companies actually make great rifles. My Stevens 334 is Turkish made as well but is phenomenally accurate for the price.

Honestly stop posting stuff that Carney can come after, I really don’t understand why anyone would post stuff we still have available online… do you want it banned? It looks fantastic if I might add just for how long??

u/BritBuc-1 Apr 27 '26
I’m curious how the UH-1 is holding on the Alcor?
2
u/twistedhumoraffy Apr 27 '26
Pretty good Here’s me at the range https://youtube.com/shorts/qzG5f01mAzI?si=k-s_mLwg6BLQa4x3
2
u/BritBuc-1 Apr 27 '26
Sweet. That actually looks a lot better from the shooter perspective. I thought it would be super bulky and awkward, but that’s pretty slick for a holo 😁.
And I have those exact same targets in my range bag 😎.
Thanks for sharing 😊

Damn all that money spent and its still uglier then a makasi

u/StimulateWithLiqour Apr 25 '26
It’s pretty clean compared to other builds I’ve seen on here.

Man no point in saving money in this small life we have gotta enjoy while we here and experience everything to the fullest that’s how I live lol
2
u/MidwinterBlue Apr 25 '26
I dunno. OP’s is a great-looking rifle that’s a pretty good shooter. The Makasi is a great-looking rifle that’s a pic on a website and a hope in the heart.

You know what? I’m just gonna fucking say it.
I think it looks really good, with the aftermarket stock/adaptor and forend. Brutally mogs WK-180s, and is probably at least as reliable/durable.
