The magazines adapter is a cool concept, but I’ve seen more comments about how unreliable they are. I’ve bought his 3d printed stuff before, and they look good, but they aren’t tuff for the price you pay. Like his space cowboy kit for example. Super thin and very flexible.

Does the drum feed well?

I can't speak for OP, but it was the worst thing i've ever bought. Jammed up and literally exploded sending nearly 90 rounds across my room 🤣

Sounds about right for Tommy enterprise

No way, I heard only good things about tommy ent... Is this common knowledge? Or only for certain products?

Many of his items don’t hold up to use or is poorly designed. Lots of reviews complaining about Tommy Enterprise stuff.

well i mean a lot of his stuff is actually well designed, but made out of the flimsiest recycled plastic bottle filament known to man

He insists on printing out of resin, which is known in the 3D printing community as one of, if not the least strong material you could possibly print out of. I genuinely don't know why he uses it over FDM materials. He brings up that he "uses a custom blend", but clearly that doesn't work.

No layer lines!!!1!

u/EliteDuck Apr 26 '26
You know what makes no layer lines? Printing slowly with 0.08mm layer height. But that affects margins!

u/newtdiego Apr 26 '26
Yeah or you know like doing any kind of finishing work other than breaking off supports…

Hit or miss. Just make sure you look for reviews or ask around before buying any TE stuff.

I've found that his stuff is okay for 22s. But anything else and it'll break on you. Bought some of his stuff for my Alcor and it all broke

I was just looking at his handguards for Henry lever actions and was a little worried about how well they hold up. He has a handguard that has a pic rail but I was worried about mounting a sight on 3d printed plastic. What did you get for your Alcor that broke?

I’m waiting on a hand-guard for a chimera from Tommy I can report back on how robust it feels when I get it

His handguards are usually okay, stock adapters are a problem. Just watch out that when it gets hot from the barrel the bolts tend to loosen up and there is some wiggle/play. But you can't bolt his stuff down too tight or it will crack.

Got the Handguard, Looks great, impressively well designed and finished but fragile as all hell. Even knowing and expecting the fragility and being as careful as I could I managed to break it where one of the captive nuts sit, I thankfully was able to repair it well enough to feel ok with it. Love the design and the idea and will use it as long as it lasts but wouldn’t buy again with the current material, if I could get the exact same thing in Aluminum or a more traditional polymer I’d 100% buy again though. It feels and breaks almost like a more durable ceramic

I appreciate you following up! Its a shame its so fragile because the design seems great. If it was for a gun thats shot once or twice a year and spends most of the time on a rack I would be okay with that. But thats not the case here sadly. I like his designs though so if he does exactly as you said and used better materials I'll throw money at it. Thanks again for reviewing it!

The handguards are usually okay. Any of his stock adapters, they always break. I had a stock adapter for my Homesteader, broke after two range trips. Alcor I bought the faux suppressor, it broke the first range trip, it got so hot and ended up melting enough to slip over the end and exploded.

I have completely stopped buying his stuff. One stock and two fore ends for a Henry lever, two faux suppressors, one top charging set up for a Feather and every single one has broken. I bought the GSG adapter as well and gave up trying to get it to work. Great designs, crap material.
