yea great use turning a part 99.8% of sks owners will never actually use (outside of jokes and memes) to something useful for sport shooters

u/mischling2543 Apr 25 '26
Ngl I love the bayonet. I use cardboard targets and stabbing them after doing a shoot on the move is my favourite part of the sks

Probably affected by US ITAR
23
u/Livid_sumo Apr 24 '26
US ITAR is the one piece of legislation more wack than the firearms act
6
u/Brandon_awarea Apr 24 '26
The sole reason I don’t do any business with Americans directly. Not worth it.
8
u/CorsicanMastiffStrip Apr 24 '26
It's actually crazy when you find out that the issue with bringing in so many firearm parts/accessories from the States was their laws and not ours.
I mean, we caught up afterwards, but still.

That’s fine small scale but I’d be selling thousands of dollars worth of stuff. I have a feeling they’d take note.

ITAR isn't the barrier it once was after they changed the US Department responsible for export controls.

Damn that's cool. Where get?

Favelas approved for now. How soon before this is deemed "assault style foreskin"?
4
u/ThePoeticJester Apr 24 '26
Thats awesome! Always a pain in the ass to attach muzzle devices to old guns, thats working smart
9
u/OkValuable1001 Apr 24 '26
Lol I didn't even pay 150 for the SKS I'm not paying that to put a flash hider on it

Very cool design!
May I ask why this is necessary though over just a threaded flash hider? Do most SKS's not have a threaded barrel? ( I haven't owned an SKS in 10+ years).
12
u/swift_gilford Apr 24 '26
They don't.
Also depending on which model you have there isn't even enough free real estate forward the front sight post to securely mount a muzzle device either.

u/CallousDisregard13 Apr 24 '26
Right on, thanks for the info!

u/DavinciMoose Apr 24 '26
Pretty sick. Not knocking you just curious, but your company made that and now your asking reddit if its legal💀?
11
u/dgod40 Apr 24 '26
They are US based so I guess they are wondering if its ok here. Also stuff about legality of firearms/accessories really gets people riled up so it will increase interactions with this post. 2026 marketing 101.

Yes nice invention, I usually do not come across a lot of gear that makes me turn my head but this is a great idea! I hope you sell a lot of them!

u/Boattailfmj Apr 25 '26
I'd be concerned about barrel harmonics, but then again its not a "precision rifle"

The law states silencing the noise is illegal. As long as it makes a loud bang the rcmp should be okay with it

For 150$, this is just f'n dumb. So's the 600$ chassis they do that should be about 150$.

You should be a diplomat helping your government end more wars. Your self-control when faced with negative criticism is equally astonishing.

How stupid. Just leave the bayonet on and keep the gun looking good. Instead put a butchered ass flash hider connected to the barrel on the bayonet swivel? How fucking stupid.
