Buy recommendations TM22 25 round magazine

Anyone else notice the 25-round mags are out of stock everywhere lately? Been like that for a while now.

Are there any good alternatives that fit the TM22? And have they stopped importing them or something? Haven’t seen a restock in weeks.

Everyone's buying new TM22's, so the banana mags are in high demand.

I did a search last week and only found 2 stores with them. Those 2 stores are now out of stock as well.

Yeah, there was one store just 15 mins away from me that had them, though I'll wait till Sunday. Come Sunday I find out they are closed, on Monday they were out. 😭

Are there any good alternatives that fit the TM22? 

There are no 3rd party magazines, also I find the 25 round magazines jam up more than the smaller ones.

I picked up a few 25ers and they don’t feed as well as the 10 or 15s. They frustrate me enough that I just don’t use them anymore

Strip the magazine down, grab a needle or riffling file, and remove any flash from around the feed lips and around the follower. Once I broke every edge on the follower and removed its seam left over from the moulding process, I've never had an issue.

A few guys at my local club had the same problem and once they did the same thing, they all ran quite smoothly.

The 15s were my favourite. Big enough to yank out easily, enough rounds for plinking, and they didn’t hit the bench when shooting from a rest.

Thanks, yeah. Most of the retailers have them in stock now. Luckily I was able to find one a couple of weeks ago itself.

Speaking of TM22 mags, does anyone have the bigger full size magazine sleeve for the TM22?

It’s just for ascetics but gives a better look.
