That’s an 1894 SBL, if that’s what you’re looking for lots of retailers have them in stock

The 45-70 is what I want, but it doesn’t look like any retailers have it in stock.

Yeah that would be the 1895 SBL, different gun than what’s posted.

Sweeeeeet!
I picked up an 1894 classic in 357mag just a few weeks ago and it's super nice. I ended up putting on a set of skinner peep sights and doing a leather wrap on the lever.

I've been eyeing an 1894 but there's one question I can't seem to find the answer on. Is there a way to empty the mag tube short of cycling each round in and out of the chamber?

Make sure the sights are good. My Marlin model 60 has the worst canted sights I’ve ever seen.
