Application / Regulation advice Mock suppressor options?

hey, im looking for a reverse-threaded mock suppressor for an MRA renegade build I’m working on. only thing I’ve seen so far is from true north arms (nothing wrong with them, just lack of choice)

My buddy is selling his TNA reverse if you're in the Calgary area. Check out Xtreme Gun Shooting Center's website, they've got two models.

Check out infinite product solutions of you can find them. You'll likely need an adapter or muzzle brake, but they are nice.

TNA said they were making a modular fake can system (different segments that you can attach so you have a custom length and how far back over the barrel it goes) if you can wait a bit. I wonder if something like this could be 3d printed if you have a nut and heat resistant filament

Aesthetics

Make gun look gooder

People like a certain look, and are willing to take the penalties to get that look.

Objectively, you're adding a weight to the end of your barrel and changing barrel harmonics. Majority of people aren't competition shooters or looking to milk out every iota of performance out of their firearms, they just want to shoot some pews and have fun. Looks can end up being a large part of it.

There isn't any right or wrong answer, people will enjoy things the way they want to.

Like cars, some people are more point A to B transport. Some others, underglow, stickers, etc. Then there is the "because race car" bunch

They have reverse ones that only add about an inch and extend over your barrel, so they only adding about the same as a brake or flash hider. They can even be used as a brake or blow forward comp depending on model. So if you were already planning on getting a brake, and the condom brake is similar price but you think it looks better...

Lol, you not wrong, but quite a bit of the Canadian firearms landscape is cope because we are so limited.

People want cool things, if we can't get them, then getting something that looks like it is the next best thing.

Just say you don’t work out bro. Adding 8oz to an already light rifle is nothing and I would entirely accept a bit more weight to have a rifle I like more simply because of how it looks. Stupid comparison because adding concrete to a magazine would do literally nothing except add weight without making a rifle look better

Because it’s a plinking rifle you insufferable fuck. It’s a fun range toy to bring out. I’m obviously not building it out into a “war-ready” rifle.

And “other men compliment muscles” is a cope. An sks weighs more than this rifle does and if you don’t have a problem with that then by no means would you have one with this.

Try rucking and/or lifting. Fat beta chud
