Or perhaps lay the blame where it should sit. Pierre is incompatible with winning. The rhetoric he brings is simply incompatible with a majority of voters, to the point where NDP voters and others actually defers to the libs.

The conservative have the same issue the PQ has. The stronger they hold the more extreme positions to please the base, the further they get from winning the election.

Although I completely agree with you that PP has lost all touch with reality... the PPC split still caused that loss.

They had ZERO chance of winning... It wasn't about them winning, it was about PC's losing, and it worked.

The PPC has the most batshit crazy ideas.

So if someone goes to the extreme and steal your votes you either have the choice of doubling down and fight for those 10,000 votes while loosing 100,000's + center leaning voters or just walk away from the fringe and appeal the center. Guess who did that and won.

Funny thing too, is Maxime Bernier if you swap the B for D it means last :)
