Application / Regulation advice Cosmi Shotguns in Canada

Is anyone familiar with Cosmi availability in Canada? Are they possible to import? I know they are a tough find so im not sure if it is a legal issue or a rarity issue.

What will that cost in CAD? 40k? Looks like they're over 20k USD. Is it worth it??

They are considered to be one of the finest semi auto shotguns around, I’d say yes.

I'd rather spend that money on a safari sxs, but this is an interesting gun for sure. Looks like it is available in Canada.

Nighthawk customs is the US importer and/or dealer for Cosmi shotguns in the US to my knowledge. They have a list of Canadian dealers on their website (although Wanstalls in now out of business so this list is definitely somewhat dated). I'd maybe start by contacting the retailers listed there and if that doesn't help, perhaps contacting an importer to see if they could assist you (IRunGuns, Prophet River, etc.)

It's a rarity issue. I have a friend who's a big shotgun nut and he said he talked to the importer once and they only get a handful of allocations per year. I'd assume it would be easier to just buy it in Italy or maybe in the US and have it imported.
