News / Politics / Activism Genuinely curious on liberal views of gun laws

Hello all. Looking for a debate on the other side of all of the gun laws / bans from a liberal point of view. How does it ACTUALLY make sense to liberals with the current laws. C21 was passed with hopes of lowering crime? How is that going? The OIC. How has the crime rate gone since? How are these “liberal experts” in power thinking this is actually going to make a difference? Canada could 100% ban every single firearm and gun crime would not go down 1 bit. I don’t really know any liberals to talk about it with I’d actually like to hear their side on it. I’m clearly not an expert on any of this but it just seems so ridiculous

It’s a hard no for the NDP from me. I don’t vote based on political affiliation. If the CPC could come up with as much as a semblance of a plan, I would’ve given it a second look. All we got were pathetic 3 letter slogans. We needed a fiscal conservative at the helm and Carney fit the bill, period. I couldn’t care less what party was in power as long as it’s a competent one. We were all tired of Trudeau and I accept that. I only wish people would use their intelligence to vote and not run off to every cockamamie rage bait campaign their party put out.

"All tired of trudeau" but you voted for the guy that was the architect of his policies and also all the people who backed him and committed all the crimes that they were never held accountable for and still haven't been.  And speaking of stupid slogans, "elbows up" anyone?  Lol and then he dropped his tarrifs.  BTW,  rage bait campaigns?  You mean like trump and China that he just bent over for??  You guys are hilarious.

Also, it’s so hilarious that your own MP’s keep jumping ship one after the other. The CPC is the laughing stock of the country.
