Milsurps / Prohib Sometimes gunpost deals are the bomb.
Picked up this crate for an absolute steal. Far cheaper than anything I was able to find on the online sites.
There may be a lot of over priced stuff on there but sometimes you find a diamond in the rough.
Does this qualify for a milsurp tag?

These were going for $700 about 5 years ago before they spiked in price and disappeared from the market.
I think the last inventory I saw I stock was $1,100 per 1000.

Several stores I frequented back in the day would break down the Norc crates and sell loose rounds in ziploc bags; $11 for 20 rounds

I remember one time this certain site that will remained unnamed i once ordered a crate of 7.62x54r and 39. I got them within 5 days and then i checked my bank and noticed the money went back into my account. I had received free ammo. I still think about that 2 years later. I should order from them again.

I have a FN browning A5 in the mail from gunpost currently. $400 for a piece of browning history, I couldn’t say no.

Got 40 rounds of 351 WSL for $2 a round, that was my win for this year.

Which rifle is this for?

Tikka t3x ace game in .308. Just some cheap plinking ammo for range days.

I am no expert, so feel free to dismiss my comment, but in the tikka manual it says not to use steel cased ammo in the rifle.

As far as im aware, its mostly just due to it causing more barrel wear. And being a bit harder on the extractor. But im seeing conflicting information. It seems to shoot just fine for me. But I will absolutely be keeping an eye out on it.

I only use these on my cheap savage, first 700ish are ok, after that the extraction is hell.

many years ago, I sold these crates for $400. I miss those days.
