Misc Can anyone ID this rifle?

I've been told it might be a Lee Enfield, possibly a No. 4 MK I or a SMLE. But after looking at photos the magazine here isn't located close to the trigger guard or maybe I'm misunderstanding something. It's my dad in this photo, but he passed away several years ago, or I'd have asked him directly. Anyway, I'll appreciate any insight or clues, thanks!

The fact that you don’t realize what’s wrong with it speaks volumes. Come back to me when you’ve figured out how to hold a civil dialogue.
