The Makasi is a short stroke piston driven sporting rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO with an 18.6’’ barrel.

- Delivered with a 5-round magazine.
- Delivered with a Side Folding stock.
- The Factory stock is attached to the receiver via a 1913 (Sig Style) Rail allowing modularity & customization.
- Free Float Handguard with M-LOK Slots.
- Full length Top Rail for greater Optic mounting compatibility.

Carney knows damn well the cost and functionality of these bans. He's not holding his nose for some votes. He's eagerly welcoming them with open arms at our expense.

I whole heartedly believe this is this case. Carney is an economist first, playing in a political platform everything about the gun ban has yielded little to no positive results. Almost a billion dollars and no progress to show for it. He needs a majority, he's got it. Now he can drop the money draining tirade on guns.

I never understood this framing. It's so ludicrously generous to someone who is actively killing firearms culture and trying to seize your lawfully owned property. It actually reeks of 'look how good Carney is'. Get real.

If he truly cares for the cost, he could have undone the OIC bans or cancelled the program a dozen times over at zero cost.

Elite technocrats aren't fans of firearms, and he's backed the program at every single step and has had every opportunity to kill it.

There are plenty of alternatives members of the Quebec community he could have brought in for his team, he specifically chose the most well known anti firearm zealot in Canada.

It's incredibly naive to assume the liberals who have spent 30+ years against firearms would do a 180 now, especially because it would be admitting their programs are a farce and that Carney doesn't stand behind his own policies and values.

In all honesty I say save your money for when the big toys are available. Like the BCMs, Daniel Defense, and plethora of fine pistols.

Im not here to debate whether he's a good or bad PM this is not the place for it or am interested in having that talk. I'm focused on firearms and firearms related issues.

Except you're purposely ignoring the part where Carney has doubled down support for the firearms confiscation/buyback program at every step.

Your trying to side step valid criticism and discussion by going "it's not if he's a good or bad pm" which was never the core discussion point of the original comment.
